Our Green Thumb Community Garden is just that – a community garden shared between MIIS students, faculty, staff, neighbors, and friends. We’re proud to offer free garden space to anyone interested in digging in the dirt and dedicated to doing his/her fair share of gardening.
The Our Green Thumb garden is also home to our 500-gallen rainwater catchment system, supplying water to the garden plots, and campus-wide composting efforts (including several worm bins). You can bring your compostable goods (vegetable clippings and organic matter) to the orange buckets in the back of the garden.
