CTLR can connect faculty with numerous funding opportunities for research and professional development.

Midd Funding Opportunities for Faculty and Staff

CTLR Funding

Pedagogy Enrichment Fund

Funding up to $1,500 is available for the academic year to support new directions in teaching. See more info and apply online.

Reading Groups

CTLR will provide up to $250 for faculty and staff reading groups of at least six individuals. Groups need to be designed to promote discussion of a topic, a theme, a pedagogy, or higher education. Requests can be sent to ctlr@middlebury.edu with an overview of the reading group and a budget (books and related materials). If a group emerges that is quite large, CLTR will entertain proposals for offering more support.

Research Assistants

Funding for research assistants supports work with students to produce original research to further faculty scholarship and deepen student engagement and learning.
