  • Grants.gov is a great source for federal grant funding.

  • InfoEd’s SPIN is a search engine that identifies funding opportunities from public and private sources. SPIN access is integrated right into the InfoEd home screen. Anyone signed into InfoEd with their Middlebury credentials can access SPIN. If you would like help searching this database for specific funders, contact Kim Balparda.

  • Guidestar is a searchable database of private and corporate foundations.

GRANTS-INFO is a general email listserv for faculty and staff at Middlebury who are interested in receiving information about grant opportunities to support research, scholarships, programmatic activities, and other initiatives in myriad disciplines. 

SCIENCE-GRANTS-INFO is an email list for faculty and staff at Middlebury who are interested in receiving information about grant opportunities to support research, scholarship, and other professional activities in the natural and physical sciences, mathematics, neuroscience, and computer science.
