Middlebury leadership shared the following message with the campus community on Monday, April 10.
Middlebury and Vermont Works for Women have partnered in a community-based employment reentry program for formerly incarcerated women. The first employees were hired in Dining Services in March 2023.
Faculty and staff from 28 departments were honored at a reception at the Kirk Center.
The second round of faculty grants from the Kathryn Wasserman Davis Collaborative in Conflict Transformation range from $10,000 to $50,000 and will support a broad array of research projects.
The gift will provide support for programs and staff and enable the Hub to respond to the changing demographics and needs of today’s students.
As colleges and universities await the U.S. Supreme Court decision on the use of race in admissions, Middlebury provides an overview of the issues and how it is preparing.
Standard & Poor’s noted Middlebury’s ‘excellent demand and student quality’ among the factors it considered for the strong credit rating.
Middlebury is one of 104 colleges and universities to receive a six-year grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute aimed at improving inclusivity and belonging in undergraduate STEM education.
