Green Dot Overview for Faculty/Staff
The Green Dot Violence Prevention Strategy is a national program that trains students, faculty, and staff in bystander intervention to help prevent instances of power-based personal violence (PBPV). PBPV is a form of violence where one individual asserts power, control, or intimidation over another to cause harm. This includes dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and harassment. This 90 minute overview is meant to introduce faculty and staff to the core messages and strategies of Green Dot which can be implemented in many settings at the college and beyond.

Green Dot Bystander Training
The Green Dot Violence Prevention Strategy is a national program that trains students, faculty, and staff in bystander intervention to help prevent instances of power-based personal violence (PBPV). PBPV is a form of violence where one individual asserts power, control, or intimidation over another to cause harm. This includes dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and harassment. This 6 hour training is recommended for groups that would like to hone and practice their bystander intervention skills more deeply after engaging in an overview training.
Suicide Prevention Training
A 3-hour workshop which guides participants through the process of understanding crises, how to support and engage with those who might be considering suicide and being effective in linking people to campus and community support. Participants who complete this workshop will receive a certificate acknowledging their completion

Offered intermittently throughout the year as an open training and as a requested by campus groups
Peer Support Skills Training
A training series designed to help students learn more about how to support friends, identify effective ways of copining, and improve listening and referral skills.
Informed & Effective Peer Talk
This workshop examines the common themes that come up when interacting and/or support peers to review appropriate scope, referral strategies, and support options. 
Well-Being Check-up (Group Discussion)
Student leaders and/or groups of all kinds (student organizations, employees, athletes, etc.) are invited to book a group session with a health educator to take a health screening, talk about harm reduction, and discuss wellness supports. Health information is recorded at the individual level and kept confidential, though participants are encouraged to share thoughts and experiences as they please.
Recovery Ally Training
Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to participate in this training which will cover the importance of recovery-friendly language, recognize the needs of students in recovery, and outline the scope of an effective ally.
Intuitive Eating
An introductory presentation on the concept of intuitive eating, a non-diet based approach to looking at eating and food. 
Intuitive Movement
An introductory presentation on intuitive movement and how to find ways to move your body in a way that works for you. 
Program-in-a-Box

A “program-in-a-box” is a preorganized health and wellness program for student leaders and organizations to participate with peers on campus.

Available programs:

“Cultivating Play” Students will learn about the importance of play and its relationship to burnout and balance. As a result of this workshop, students will: - Think of at least one play activity they enjoy and explore ways to incorporate that activity in their schedule. - Identify resources on campus where student can find play activities. - Take home a physical reminder of play (in this case, slime)

“Weighing the Options” Students will be asked to think about their role in communal living in relation to the expectations and boundaries set around alcohol and other drug use. As a result of this activity, students will: think critically about perceptions and expectation related to substance use, review harm reduction strategies, and feel empowered to make informed decisions.
