Through a diverse set of programs and events, the Rohatyn Center for Global Affairs (RCGA) reaches across boundaries of language, culture, and geography to engage students’ capacity for rigorous analysis and independent thought in a rapidly changing world.
Programs and Opportunities
Global Scholars Program - Selected first year scholars will participate in a variety of workshops, meet with expert solutionists, attend global-related events, and attend weekly lunch discussions to help develop a more global mindset. Applications out in early September.
Global Fellows Program - A select group of sophomores, juniors, and seniors explore global affairs, engage with visiting experts, and research, write, and publish on matters of global significance. Weekly lunch meetings. Applications out in the late spring.

MJGA gives undergraduates a chance to show off their hard work and share their unique perspectives on global themes. This year’s edition is our most extensive and ambitious to date, covering sixteen articles, four languages, over twenty countries, and offering a platform for our Rohatyn Global Fellows. Yet, what makes this edition particularly remarkable is its interdisciplinary breadth. By interweaving stellar work from fields as varied as economics, environmental science, decolonial studies, political science, and history, this collection is a reminder that no global issue exists in a vacuum.
The Journal is put together by the Rohatyn Center Interns with the wonderful support of Valerie Costello and Middlebury printing services.
