Steve does liaison work, bibliographic instruction, and collection development for the following departments: English & American Literatures, Philosophy, Religion, Literary Studies, Film & Media Culture, and the Creative Writing program. In addition, Steve serves as liaison and curator for all physical media available in the libraries, excepting materials held in Special Collections. He has completed rotations on both the Digital Archives Team and Curricular Technology Team. Steve is also the lead training librarian for the library's student workers in all things Reference. In the wider College community, Steve serves as an executive board member for the New England Young Writers' Conference and was part of the extended planning team for the 2014 Clifford Symposium, titled "Transforming the Academy in the Digital Era." Professionally, Steve is a member of ALA and ACRL, contributes media reviews to EMRO, and is serving a 2-year term on the Teaching, Learning & Technology Committee as part of ACRL's Library Instruction Round Table. Steve graduated from Middlebury in 2000 with a degree in English Literature. His graduate studies include an M.A. in English Literature (Penn State '03), and an M.S. in Library and Information Science (Syracuse '07).
