Middlebury’s Facilities Services issued the following instructions in an email to faculty and staff on December 14.
As we all prepare for the holiday recess, just a friendly reminder to be sure that your lights, computer, coffee pots, copiers, and printers are all turned off when you leave your office.
We would appreciate it if you would take a moment to be sure that your windows (storm window too if you have one) are securely closed and latched.
Please make sure any food you may have in your office is sealed and stored properly to prevent any rodent issues from cropping up.
In light of our trash and recycle programs, please empty your office containers in the central bins by the end of the day Tuesday, December 20. We plan to empty the central containers in the morning of Wednesday, December 21.
Facilities Services Staff will be walking through all campus spaces on Wednesday 12/21, Thursday12/22 and Friday 12/23 to double check that spaces are ready for the holiday but your advance assistance is most appreciated.
