In the realm of lands-based projects, nearly all happenings entail partnerships. The College customarily partners with public and private organizations to help achieve stewardship goals.

Danforth Pewter production photo — Since 1991, the **Addison County Economic Development Corporation** has been helping Addison County businesses—from all backgrounds, at all stages, in all sectors and sizes—to grow and create well-paying jobs.

Contestants in the annual TAM trek race — **Middlebury Area Land Trust** has worked in Addison County with communities and partners to ensure the well-being and long-term viability of the area’s natural and human communities.

Porter Hospital main building — **UVM-Porter Medical Center** is a critical access hospital that has been the trusted healthcare provider for more than 32,000 residents of Addison County and beyond for more than a century. Porter delivers a wide range of care with a strong focus on accessibility, coordination, and community connection.
