My name is Grace and I use she/her pronouns. I am a counseling intern at Middlebury College currently pursuing an MS in clinical mental health counseling at The University of Vermont. I am a Rhode Island native who moved to Burlington, Vermont in August of 2025. Before that, I lived in both Boston and New York City working in the field of marketing. I graduated from Colby College in 2021 where I majored in Psychology and also played on the Women’s Lacrosse team. Today, my passions for sports and being active and outdoors remain important parts of my life and things that I value as strong sources of connection, purpose, and fun. As a NESCAC alumnus, I am eager to be a part of the Middlebury community and work with students of many different identities and backgrounds on campus.

My approach to counseling is ever-evolving as I grow as a practitioner and work with new individuals. Despite my role as counselor, I believe that each individual is the expert on their own life, so my job is to build strong, trusting relationships as well as foster collaborative work in sessions. My goal is to take a person-centered approach while focusing on strengths-based and goal-oriented sessions. Above all, I am eager to create a safe and welcoming place for students and also to be a resource for any and all concerns that may be brought into the room.
