My name is Jonathan Klock, and I use he/him (pronouns). I am originally from Massachusetts. Before moving to Vermont I also lived in Washington DC, New York, and briefly lived in Belgium for a semester abroad. I love to travel. I have been to Japan, Canada, and when I was a kid I spent most of my summers in Puerto Rico where my parents are from. I am interested in working with people struggling with anxiety, trauma, and those going through major life transitions.
Mental health should be viewed Holistically; it is important to view your health as many different parts. Your physical, mental, spiritual health are all aspects of your health and they all matter. My counseling approach comes from a Growth Mindset. Growth can be tough and as a counselor my goal is to help the client be the person they want to be.
When I am not here, I am a stay-at-home dad to a very funny two year old. In my free time I like camping, reading science fiction (huge fan of Isaac Asimov), walking my dog, and playing video games.
