My name is Katelyn Turner. I use she/her pronouns. I am a Clinical Mental Health graduate student at the University of Vermont. I am a native Vermonter from Essex and attended the University of Rhode Island for undergrad studying Psychology and Gender and Women’s studies. Since graduation I have worked as an employment counselor, and with transition aged youth in one-on-one settings teaching English and providing support during transitions. I provide a warm and welcoming space free from judgement to allow clients to feel safe while processing and growing into self. I am drawn to narrative theory, and I believe in a holistic approach to mental health and wellness.
In my personal time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, and going to concerts. I am also passionate about traveling and learning about new cultures. I have spent a few years living abroad and traveling around the world. I look forward to connecting with my Vermont community!
