Lana Peters

My name is Lana and I use she/her pronouns. I’m currently in my final year of graduate school to earn my masters degree in Social Work at the University of Vermont. While earning my bachelors degree, I worked with adults experiencing mental illness in my community, which led me to discovering my passion for working in the mental health field and with the LGBTQ+ community. 

My emerging perspective as a social worker is strengths-based, social constructionist,  collaborative, and relational. 

When I’m not in school or at work, I like to spend my time seeing live music, being outside, exploring new places, reading, and doing yoga.
