First-Year Seminar Registration and Upcoming Deadlines

I hope you had a lovely week! I wanted to reach out with some information about first-year seminar registration and reminders on upcoming deadlines on your prearrival checklist.

First-Year Seminar Registration

You should receive an email on December 21 with the First Year Seminar Spring 2021 Booklet. Registration for the first-year seminar will occur between January 11 at 12 p.m. EST and January 15 at 5 p.m. EST. Please review our website for more information. Student Housing

Remember to complete the Housing Contract and Questionnaire by January 3 if you have not done so. This link was sent to you in a previous email, but you can find the form here. The questionnaire helps us to understand your lifestyle, interests and needs (which are different from wants). The questions touch on topics such as how neat you like your room, how much privacy you hope to have in your living space, if you are someone who likes a lot of social interaction or prefer a more quiet environment.

Student MiddCard

When you arrive on campus, you will receive a MiddCard that serves as your official form of identification at Middlebury College. Please upload a passport quality photo for your MiddCard. You can find photo guidelines and the photo submission form here.

Bicycle Registration

If you choose to bring a bicycle to campus, please register your bicycle here.

Vehicle Registration

If you choose to bring a vehicle to campus, please register your vehicle and purchase a parking permit through Banner. This does not apply to students whose parents will be dropping them off on arrival day.

Health Related Travel Information

Review Parton Health Center’s web page for the most up-to-date health related travel information as well as other guidance that might impact your studies at Middlebury.

Our website is up and running! We will continue to update it as needed, but be sure to check the pre-arrival checklist for upcoming deadlines.
