Fall 2020, Students

Dear Students,

We are writing to provide important information and instructions for any student who may have been exposed to COVID-19 at home, as we prepare to welcome the next groups of students to campus on August 26 and 28.

Before you depart for Middlebury, please review these instructions from the College’s Parton Center for Health and Wellness (CHW):

  • Do not come to campus if you have been exposed to or have been living with someone with COVID-19 in the past month.
  • Do not come to campus, even if you had a negative COVID test, until you are cleared for arrival by Middlebury College health staff. Call the CHW at 802-443-3290. If Parton is closed, leave a voicemail and then email Dr. Peluso at wpeluso@middlebury.edu with contact information, and he or another member of the medical staff will contact you.
  • Do not come to campus if you are having symptoms. Prior to departure, call the CHW at 802-443-3290. If the CHW is closed, leave a voicemail and then email Dr. Peluso at wpeluso@middlebury.edu with contact information, and he or another member of the medical staff will contact you.
  • If you are suddenly having symptoms on arrival, call the test center hotline at 802-443-5055. Medical staff will contact you. Please do not enter the test center.

Before coming to campus, you must complete your day of departure questionnaire in the PolicyPath health-screening mobile app. This app will be used for daily health checks and will be required for you to access certain buildings on campus. If you are experiencing challenges using PolicyPath, please complete this brief form to help us assist you.

We have completed testing for all 285 student leaders who arrived last week, and all the test results were negative. This group of students will receive their Day 7 testing on Tuesday.

Thank you for doing your part to make the fall semester a success.

We look forward to seeing you back on campus.

Sincerely,

Mark Peluso
