    Michal Strier, a Hebrew Professor from the Middlebury School of Hebrew, is offering an engaging and fun way to experience Israeli culture and live it! Each week is something new and different including making art and learning calligraphy, watching Israeli films and shows, listening to Israeli music, meeting interesting people from various sectors in Israel, and cooking and eating lots of Israeli foods. Join us to experience a unique melting pot culture that combines European, North African, Arab, and other influences.

    As part of the SGA-sponsored collaborative mental health-focused art spaces, this workshop led by Prof. Gottshall will use a variety of writing exercises and prompts to loosen our imaginations and experience language in an expressive and embodied way. The focus will be on playfulness and process, and accepting language’s invitation into realms of beauty, mystery, and strangeness.
