  • Movement Matters Dance class by Alumni Jeremy Cline in Capoeira

    Jeremy Cline’s work explores dreams, mythology, and perception using the body as a central means of expression. He has danced with the Los Angeles Opera, the Lincoln Center, Spectrum Dance Theater, Brian Sanders’ JUNK, Khambatta Dance Company, The 5th Ave Musical Theater, and International Ballet Theater, as well as in many underground bboy battles, capoeira rodas, and circus shows.

  • Poetry reading by Naomi Replansky

    Naomi Replansky was born in the East Bronx of New York City in 1918, to Russian-Jewish parents who had fled the Russian pogroms. She began to write poems in her early teens. Her first collection, “Ring Song,” was a finalist for the National Book Award in Poetry in 1952. Her collection, “Collected Poems,” won the Poetry Society of America’s 2013 William Carlos Williams Award and was a finalist for the 2014 Poets’ Prize.

Answering this deceivingly simple question is an exploration in the science of snow and the psychology of high-stakes decision making, the ethics of informed consent, and a structured approach to risk management that tries to put it all together. With snow and avalanches there always seems to be more questions — so please bring yours! Ilya Storm is an ACMG Ski Guide and forecaster with Avalanche Canada.

  • Wear Purple Day Photoshoot!

    Join the MiddSafe Advocates for snacks and a photoshoot to show support for survivors during Wear Purple Day! Wear Purple Day is a national event during Dating and Domestic Violence Awareness Month and is a way to visibly demonstrate support for people who have been impacted by power based personal violence. MiddSafe will have giveaways, snacks, and purple accessories so stop by and take a selfie!
