  • Gathering and Uncoupling An Exhibit of Historic Clothing and Contemporary Photography

    The Johnson Exhibition Gallery, located in the newly renovated Johnson Memorial Building, presents Gathering and Uncoupling; An exhibition of Historic Clothing and Contemporary Photography. The exhibit includes objects from the Middlebury College Antique Clothing Collection and Photographic works by artist Rob O’Neil.

    Two facilitators of the JusTalks team will hold an open space for students to learn about and interact with the program, as well as have the opportunity to engage in dialogue about pertinent social justice themes on campus or beyond. While this event will hold the most structured opportunity to engage in dialogue about Hustle Culture, other themes can be explored such as Interracial Interactions, Healthy Masculinity, Exploring Gender, and more!

  • Movie Screening and Q&A with Director: "Israelism"

    To kick of SJP this year, we are screening the new film ‘Israelism’ which takes a deep dive into the growing American Jewish awareness of Israel Apartheid and analyzing the Zionist propaganda mechanisms in this country that try to combat Palestinian activism. The event will be preceded by a Q&A with the co-director of the film, Eric Axelman, who will be sharing insights into the filmmaking process and advice for advancing the Palestinian cause at Middlebury and beyond!
