    Naomi Iizuka describes her play Polaroid Stories as “a visceral blend of classical mythology and real life stories told by street kids.” 10 actors play characters ranging from Echo, Eurydice, Orpheus and Narcissus to Skinhead, Kaos, Melody and Disappear. “Iizuka journeys into a dangerous world where myth-making fulfills a fierce need for transcendence, where storytelling has the power to transform a reality in which character’s lives are continually threatened, devalued and erased. Like their mythic counterparts, these modern-day mortals are engulfed by needs that burn and consume.

  • Charter House Club Dinner

This a great, low-commitment opportunity to engage with the off-campus community, explore volunteering within Middlebury, and learn more about homelessness in Vermont. We will meet at ADK where a student driver will take us to get some groceries and then to the Charter House Coalition to help out with their dinner.

  • Gathering and Uncoupling An Exhibit of Historic Clothing and Contemporary Photography

    The Johnson Exhibition Gallery, located in the newly renovated Johnson Memorial Building, presents Gathering and Uncoupling; An exhibition of Historic Clothing and Contemporary Photography. The exhibit includes objects from the Middlebury College Antique Clothing Collection and Photographic works by artist Rob O’Neil.
