Come from 7:00-7:30 pm either night for a presentation on how to transform the skills and experience you’ve gained through volunteering, leadership, classes, jobs, and other activities into a strong, professional Middlebury résumé. Stay as long as you want to work on your résumé.

Before I Die
This interactive public art installation invites members of the Middlebury community to reflect on what matters most. By sharing personal hopes and aspirations on a communal wall, the project fosters connection, introspection, and a celebration of our shared humanity. Inspired by the global Before I Die project, this installation transforms public space into a canvas for gratitude, memory, and possibility.

Northeastern Old Growth Conference 2025
The 2025 Northeastern Old Growth Conference: Wildlands and Old-Growth Forests, co-hosted by Middlebury College and the University of Vermont, will be held September 17–20, 2025, at Middlebury’s scenic Bread Loaf Campus in Ripton, Vermont. Scientists, conservationists, policymakers, health professionals, writers, and artists will gather to share knowledge and inspire a future with more wildlands and old-growth forests in the Northeast. This year’s themes include The Future of Old Growth, Healthy Forests, Healthy People, and Old Growth Ecology.

Clifford Symposium 2025: AI and Global Security
Ian Stewart, Executive Director of the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Ian Stewart will examine pathways through which advancing AI may threaten international peace and security and will explore the mitigation of these risks. This will include examination of AI in relation to strategic competition between the U.S. and China.
