Lyd: Sci-Fi Documentary
Lyd is a sci-fi documentary directed by Rami Younis and Sarah Ema Friedland (directors will be present at the screening for a post-screening Q&A)
Lyd explores the untold history and present-day struggles of Lyd (Lod), a Palestinian city with a significant rich past and challenging present. Through personal stories and historical analysis, the film sheds light on the city’s cultural erasure, ongoing displacement, and the resilience of its Palestinian inhabitants.Pizza and refreshments will be served.

Purple Thursday
The third Thursday of October is nationally recognized as Purple Thursday. On this day, people nationwide are encouraged to wear purple to increase awareness for domestic violence. Join us in wearing purple clothing to show support for those who have experienced relationship violence.
MiddSafe will be tabling to share resources that support survivors of power-based personal violence, and we will also be sharing Green Dot strategies for violence prevention. Co-sponsored by MiddSafe and Green Dot.Proctor Terrace
