John Elder returns to the Middlebury College community to share reflections about how poems by Emily Dickinson and the 8th-century writer Du Fu have helped him arrive at a more resolute response to this challenging moment in American history.

The Dance Company of Middlebury, directed by Associate Professor of Dance, Laurel Jenkins, with guest artist, Arisa White, is in the process of creating an original dance work that weaves in poetic text and movement. This is a work in progress showing where you will learn about the process of making the work. The work will premiere in January and tour to Indigo Arts Alliance in Portland, ME.
