    Gather is a community of progressive Christians and friends – non-Christian and Christian alike – promoting the values of compassion, justice, mercy, tolerance, and radical inclusivity as Jesus taught, while working to break cycles of oppression and injustice.  Each meeting we will discuss a short reading from a progressive or post-Christian text.

  • The Future Is...: Global Conference on Sustainability in Higher Ed

    Middlebury is a Host Institution for this three-day virtual conference offered by AASHE (Assoc. for Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Ed), October 12 – 14.

    FREE REGISTRATION is available for Midd students/faculty/staff and includes access to all sessions and events during the live conference plus eighty days of post-conference on-demand access (through Dec 31).

    MixxedFit® is a people-inspired fitness program that combines explosive dance movements with bodyweight toning. Everything about this dance fitness program is explosive– movements are big, full-out, and our very best! As a licensed MixxedFit® instructor, Sarah combines original, easy-to-follow dance choreographies with bodyweight toning exercises to provide a dance-party-meets-HIIT group fitness experience. She is thrilled to be able to support the MIIS community access wellness in body, spirit, and mind through dance fitness!

  • Permission to Converse: Laws, Violence, and Roadblocks to Palestinian Political Expression

    Palestinians living on different sides of the Green Line make up approximately one-fifth of Israeli citizens and about four-fifths of the population of the West Bank. Activists in both groups assert that they share a single political struggle for national liberation. Yet, obstacles inhibit their ability to speak to each other and as a collective. Geopolitical boundaries fragment Palestinians into ever smaller groups.

    Ballet returns to the dance program this fall. Classical ballet technique in traditional ballet class structure. No point shoes, please. Each session is open to a maximum of 14 participants.
