    Students and the public are invited to attend this weekly nonpartisan discussion of recent political events, hosted by Professor Matthew Dickinson. Held on most Tuesdays from 12:30-1:20 pm EST. Check the calendar for dates. No expertise assumed. All viewpoints welcome.

    Log Rolling Practice! Come down to the Natatorium to join us at log rolling. Anyone and everyone is welcome, no experience is necessary. Log rolling is a fun sport where we try and stay on a log floating in water. You can even duel your friends and whoever stays on longer wins! Come try it out!

  • SGA Finance Committee Budgeting Workshop

    This event is intended for student organization leaders (presidents and treasurers) to help them prepare their annual budgets for the 2023-24 school year. This event is hosted by the SGA Finance Committee, who will be approving proposed annual budgets during the Annual Budgeting Weekend April 29-30. In the meeting, SGAFC members will be assisting organization leaders with putting together budgets that adhere to SGAFC policy and are likely to be approved. No prior sign-up to attend this event is necessary.

    Each week we’ll have materials for different projects — beading, embroidery floss for making bracelets, collaging on notebook covers and containers, origami, watercolors for illustrating poetry, etc.
     
    We’ll be serving hot homemade chai and homemade cookies.

    Paul M. Sniderman is the Fairleigh S. Dickinson Jr. Professor in Public Policy at Stanford University. His research focuses on multiculturalism and politics in Western Europe and spatial reasoning. He coauthored The Struggle for Inclusion: Muslims and Liberal Democracy (University of Chicago Press, 2022) with Elisabeth Ivarsflaten.

    Butterfly Project: Screening and Painting

    Middlebury Hillel is partnering with the Butterfly Project to create its first installation in the state of Vermont. Painting of the small ceramic Butterflies will follow a short film screening, and will then be installed in the Jewish center.
