The Rohatyn Center for Global Affairs Program for Global Health and Medicine, in collaboration with the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, the Jan Knippers Black Fund, and Middlebury College Departments and Programs of Anthropology, Global Health, Black Studies, Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies, and the Center for the Critical Study of Race and Ethnicity warmly invite you to a public lecture by Professor Kamari Maxine Clarke.

This two-part event includes a reproductive justice exhibit featuring art that focuses on crisis pregnancy centers, as well as a talk about art as a vehicle for social justice by Dr. Virginia Thomas.

Kofi Bazzell-Smith is an artist, a graduate student at the University of Illinois, and a professional boxer. Pursuing his Master of Fine Arts in New Media, Kofi is currently a Mellon Foundation Interseminars Initiative Fellow with the Humanities Research Institution.

This day-long exhibit, with lunch presentation including food and beverages, will showcase some of the work done by Black Studies students at Middlebury.
