Join Grace O’Dell for a workshop on planning and decision-making. Learn more about how to leverage your core values, priorities, and passions to strengthen your decision making in this intensive, hands-on workshop. Uncover your passions to set goals, develop good habits, and take charge over your semester and year ahead. Refreshments will be provided for those attending in-person. Shades at MIIS is bringing back VERSUZ: an event where two students compete and create a playlist of music that fits a theme (i.e. R&B, Pop Hits of the 80s, etc.). Viewers of the event vote their favorite playlist, and the winner will be invited back to battle the winners of other VERSUZ events. This event is open to all MIIS students, so come join in on the fun!

The first MIRA meeting of the semester open to all MIIS students, staff and faculty. We will be finalizing our priorities for the semester and discussing potential events.

As you may have heard, grad school can be stressful! While our habit might be to avoid or distract ourselves from stress, what can actually help is to look closer: to acknowledge what’s going on with curiosity, acceptance, and self-compassion. Mindfulness helps us to handle stress more effectively by becoming more self-aware, and learning strategies that help us build resilience and come back to equilibrium in the moment.

Come to this beginner Swing dance lesson with MIIS student, Kevin Mascitelli. There will be refreshments provided and time for social dance after the lesson. Email student.services@middlebury.edu with any questions.

Students in the IPD/MPA/ITED Program can stop by the Samson Center to grab snacks and coffee/tea to commemorate the start of the semester.

We will occupy one picnic table with snacks, drinks and crafts for VDay.
