The MIIS Veterans Organization Guest Speaker Series presents Lieutenant General (retired) Eric P. Wendt. Mr.Wendt spent 34 years in the US Army serving in some of the highest positions, to include acting as the Principal Military Assistant to US Secretaries of Defense Robert Gates and Leon Panetta. Mr. Wendt will be discussing ways for for students to think about their roles and efforts in current and future national and international policy making, with a focus on Comprehensive Defense.

An open, social event with the purpose of practicing speaking foreign languages and socializing with fellow students and/or language enthusiasts. Everyone will receive flag stickers denoting the language they speak/wish to speak. Tentative location will be Fieldwork Brewery on Tuesdays from 6-9 pm.

An on-campus pop-up stand will take place where students can drop-off clothes they want to donate and pick up other clothes if they please! Everything is free!

Watch the movie Promising Young Woman and discuss the movie’s themes of bystander responsibility around sexual assault. Also a chance to get people involved in our committee. Drinks and snacks like chips and soda will be provide.
