Come watch the NYTimes bestselling author of Thank You For Arguing do for Midd students what he does for corporations, college fundraisers, and TED Talk speakers across the nation: use the principles of classical rhetoric to pinpoint their message for its target audience. We’ve invited students to pitch an idea of their own, or to advocate for a student org or activity in which they believe. So we’ll hear a variety of two-minute proposals, recruitment pitches, mission statements, SGA resolutions, etc., then watch as Jay helps hone the message for maximum impact.
