We will discuss ideas about what to think about and do when you interview and when you receive an offer, and the basic principles of a successful negotiation: what can be negotiated and how should you respond when offered a position. National Life Group is a Vermont employer very interested in introducing you to these skills that you can use in any type of future employment situation. Open to all students, all majors, whether you are job or internship searching now or later.

Vermont Senate President Tim Ashe will be visiting Middlebury to discuss prevalent political issues with students in a town hall-style meeting. Students of all political affiliations are welcome and encouraged to join!

This training program is required for anyone who will drive a College vehicle, including rental of a College passenger vehicle or 15-passenger van. There is no cost for the class. NOTE: A driving orientation (a 1 hour review on the road) is required for 15-passenger vans and larger vehicles. You must have also had a valid state driver’s license for at least 3 years in order to drive a 15-passenger van.

Rethinking Our Relationship to Disability
Part of the Inclusive Practitioners Program, this 90-minute workshop will explore the medical and social models of disability, how each model impacts policies and practices, and ways faculty and staff can reconceptualize disability in order to reduce barriers and increase access, equity, inclusion and full participation.
