Join the Institute Fellowships Team to discuss the Projects for Peace fellowship (PfP)! This award gives students $10,000 to design and implement grassroots peacebuilding projects during the summer. PfP grantees should be working on a project that helps to create peace; as they would define the word peace. Applicants can be of any nationality, must be a current MIIS student, and able to conduct their project over the summer of 2024. Come with any questions and hear from PfP alumni!

Join the MIIS Cyber Collaborative, MIIS Cyber Security Working Group, and the MIIS Financial Crime Management Club in conversation with MIIS alumna Brita Bayatmakou, Vice President at the Cyber & Analytics Unit at FINRA, to understand how financial and cyber crime intersect.

According to INTERPOL, financial and cyber crimes stand as the world’s foremost and rapidly escalating threats. Grasping the convergence of these two domains is essential for both national and international security professionals.

Join the Institute Fellowships Team to discuss the Critical Language Scholarship (CLS)! This fellowship opportunity is a fully funded summer intensive overseas language and cultural immersion program to increase language capacity in 13 languages deemed critical by the U.S. government. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals and currently enrolled at a U.S. university. CLS supported languages include: Arabic, Azerbaijani, Chinese, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Portuguese, Russian, Swahili, Turkish, and Urdu.
