Reflection Friday Speaker Series

On selected Fridays each semester, the Center for Creativity, Innovation, and Social Entrepreneurship hosts reflective talks during which speakers discuss the question: “What matters to me, and why.” During these lunchtime talks, students and other members of the Middlebury community will reflect on their own ‘story of self’ and offer insights about the challenges of effecting social change.

Panel Discussion and Q&A with OBGYNs Dr. Kate Wagner and Dr. Anna Benvenuto

Please join Women in Health Sciences club as we welcome Porter Medical Center Obstetrics and Gynecology doctors to speak to our club! Some topics of discussion include how being a female affected their medical journey and job, what it is like to be a doctor in Vermont, and advice they would give to students aspiring to be involved in healthcare. There will be ample time for Q&A with the audience! The event is open to all genders and backgrounds.

Paint a Mural with Middlebury Union High School Students for MLK Day of Service

Join MUHS students in creating a mural to beautify their school and make it reflective of their community values for MLK Day of Service. Prepping and design outline will take place from 10:00-11:30 a.m, followed by painting from 11:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Renowned mural artist Will “Kasso” Condry and the AFC’s Jennifer Herrera Condry will direct the process. Lunch, snacks and transportation provided, with shuttles available between MUHS and Adirondack Circle all day. Join for as little or as much as you can. Sign up at go/mlk2020. Questions?
