The workshop will cover the different training authorizations, application process and timeline, as well as provide information about maintaining status. F-1 Workshop: Summer Work Authorization for F-1 students

This workshop will focus on Curricular Practical Training (CPT) and Pre-completion Optional Practical Training (OPT) for F-1 students who intent to obtain a summer internship in the U.S. Topics to be covered are: eligibility to apply, the application process and maintaining status while on an approved period of training authorization. This workshop is open to all F-1 students who are interested in learning more about these two types of off-campus training authorizations.
