Generative AI has swept through college campuses with unprecedented speed, but what do we actually know about its impact on student learning? Drawing on two studies at Middlebury College, this talk presents systematic evidence on how students are using AI tools and whether these tools deliver on their educational promise.

Ballet returns to the Dance Department this Fall. Classical Ballet technique in traditional ballet class structure. No pointe shoes, please.Each session is open to a maximum of 20 participants. This is a beginner-friendly workshop meant to teach first-years and sophomores the foundational accounting skills needed for IB or PE recruiting. The workshop will meet 7-8pm on Wednesdays; sessions will be taught by Annie Zhang (Associate’s Degree in Accounting).

The Atelier Sewing Club open workshop hours! Come and craft! We have sewing machines, irons, scissors, pins, needles, thread, dress forms, and huge buckets of scrap fabric for communal use.
