Faculty, Spring 2021, Staff, Students

Dear Students:

As we have already shared with the Middlebury community, because of the pandemic, several of the Middlebury Schools Abroad will not operate this winter and spring. We have yet to make a final determination on a few of them. However, faculty from the Schools Abroad in eleven countries will offer remote courses to students in the Middlebury community, since they aren’t able to teach them locally. Many of these courses will be listed through several academic departments at Middlebury, from Anthropology to Environmental Studies to Political Science.  Some of these courses will be taught in the language of the host country, but many will be taught in English and are open to all students.

You can find a complete list of courses offered by the Schools Abroad for j-term and the spring semester (with their language of instruction) at the following link:

https://www.middlebury.edu/schools-abroad/middlebury-students/remote-courses

The courses listed at the site above can also be found in the Winter and Spring Course Schedules (http://www.middlebury.edu/academics/resources/scheduling) under Middlebury Schools Abroad.

We hope to be able to welcome many of you at our Schools Abroad soon, but in the meantime, our faculty and staff look forward to engaging with you remotely this winter and spring.

Sincerely,

Carlos Vélez
