Apply to J-term MiddCORE
The Winter Program will be remote in January 2021 and is only open to Middlebury Undergraduates and takes place during Winter Term (J-Term). Applications for Winter Term 2021 are due Sunday November 29th. You will find out if you are accepted on Monday November 30th and class registration will begin on Tuesday Dec. 1st through Thursday Dec. 3rd.

MiddCORE Remote J-term Program: January 19–February 12, 2021
MiddCORE Remote
MiddCORE 2020 will be delivered through remote learning. You will have a combination of small group sessions with mentors, prerecorded sessions, podcasts, community building reflections, and collaborate with peers. Synchronous classes will be required and will be from 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (EST), Monday through Friday with group work requirements outside the synchronous class hours. Although it is a Pass/Fail course, passing the course requires 95% attendance (i.e., you may miss one class for sickness or other excused absence) and 110% effort.

Q When will I know if I’ve been accepted?
All students who apply will receive an email notifying them of our admissions decision by 8 p.m. on the Monday, November 30. Register begins on Tuesday December 1st through Thursday December 3rd. If you apply and are accepted, you will still need to register during J-Term registration.
Q Is there a course fee to take MiddCORE during J-Term?
No. J-Term MiddCORE costs are covered by your Middlebury College tuition payment.
Q Is financial aid available for J-Term?
A limited amount of financial aid is available to students who might otherwise be unable to enroll due to work-study or other financial obligations. If you are interested in receiving information about financial aid please email middcore@middlebury.edu
