MiddCORE Summer Lab-Applications Open March 1st

Over the course of eight sessions this summer, sharpen your professional skillset, expand your network, and explore possibilities with 30+ mentors from the MiddCORE community.

MiddCORE Summer Lab is designed to complement your summer experience, from anywhere!


MiddCORE Summer Intern Lab (The LAB) is designed to work in conjunction with your summer internship. Meeting once a week on Tuesday evenings with your peers and learning from mentors, you will gain skills that you can directly apply during your summer experience. MiddCORE Winter Immersion

This is open to all Middlebury undergraduates and will be in person for the winter term of 2024. Working with mentors for one month, students face daily, weekly, and month-long challenges designed to build the CORE strengths needed to become effective leaders and creative problem solvers.

MiddCORE Workshops

MiddCORE Workshops are designed for affinity groups on campus and focus on leadership development, professional development, and life skills. MiddCORE afternoons happen throughout the winter term in the afternoon, bringing the MiddCORE curriculum to a broader Middlebury audience.

  • Megan Nesbeth is a designer, strategist, and doer who empowers people, places, and organizations to thrive using the tools of design research, complex systems, business strategy, and the social sciences. She is currently a strategist at frog, a global design, strategy, and innovation firm.

  • Simon is the Chief Operating Officer for Orvis. He is responsible for their customer facing teams, that include Marketing, Consumer Direct, IT, Merchandising & Product Development, Sourcing, and Merchandise Operations & Planning. In 2016, Simon developed an “in-house agency” for Orvis, and lead the development of Orvis’ brand storytelling.

  • Logan Randolph graduated from Midd in 2014, where he ski patrolled and played rugby. Following his time in Vermont, he moved to San Francisco and started a company providing a “digital personal assistant” which was later acquired. He later joined Quip in 2015 which later came under the Salesforce umbrella.
