Antiracist Pedagogy/ Inclusion and Access

The Director of Education for Equity and Inclusion (DEEI) works directly with students to provide workshops and facilitate dialogues on issues of equity and inclusion and supports the work of the JusTalks Peer Educators who develop and facilitate workshops about social justice. The DEEI also provides individual and group support for students working on projects related to accessibility, inclusion, and social change. In addition, the DEEI works directly with faculty to provide workshops related to inclusive pedagogy and classroom climate and provides both proactive and responsive consulting for individual faculty members and academic departments related to polices/practices, course/assignment design, managing group dynamics, responding to conflict/harm, etc. Faculty with questions can contact Renee Wells.
