Providing a wide range of engagement opportunities outside the classroom plays a crucial role in fostering student belonging and well-being.

Student organizations are focused on shared cultural, recreational, personal and intellectual interests and foster close-knit communities and a sense of connection. In these organizations students have the autonomy to make decisions, plan events, and set priorities. Active involvement on campus, including in student organizations, enhances investment in the institution, increasing students’ motivation to succeed academically and remain enrolled.
