In the February 11, 2021 edition of the Addison County Independent, Professor Emeritus of History and Black Studies and founding co-director of the Twilight Project, William Hart, wrote about the Twilight Project seminar he developed and taught during the 2021 Winter Term at Middlebury College. The course, titled “Histories of Struggle: Middlebury, Town and Gown” was cross-listed between History and Black Studies and invited students to gauge with the town and college’s complicated relationships to various forms of marginalization via archival inquiry made possible by Davis Library and Henry Sheldon Museum archivists.
