Off-Campus Access to Library Databases

Can I access the Library's online databases, journal articles, ebooks, and other Web-based resources from off campus?

Yes! Current students, faculty, emeritus faculty, and staff* can access Web-based Library resources from off campus.

Start your search from any library web page, including Summon, Research Guides, and our Journals title list, for the easiest experience. You will be prompted for your Middlebury username and password.

Once logged in, you will have access to all Web-based Library resources. You will not need to sign in again until you close your browser. For general information about off-campus access, see the Library and ITS page on off-campus access.

*For off-campus access to subscription resources, a "College user" is a current Middlebury student, faculty, or staff member as defined by Banner. This is strictly controlled by license agreements with database vendors. Such agreements are standard across higher education institutions.

Can I use GO links from off campus?

Yes! Use go.middlebury.edu from off campus. For example, go/library would be
