Quantitative Tutors

Quantitative tutors assist students in courses that have moderate to significant mathematics content, including courses in mathematics, science, and social science. Training Schedule for Quantitative Tutors: Spring, 2013

If you are a returning peer tutor, thanks so much for all your dedication in the past and your continued hard work. If you are a new peer tutor this semester, congratulations! We are so glad you've joined us.
 
Information about the required Organization and Training meetings for CTLR Math, Science, and Social Science peer tutors is given below. 
 
What: Organization Meeting
When/Where: Monday, Feb. 18, 4:30 to 5:30 pm, CTLR
Who: Required for all new CTLR tutors and returning tutors who attended no training sessions last semester
 
What: Training Session #1
When/Where: Wednesday, Feb. 27, 4:30 to 6 pm, CTLR
Who: Required for all new CTLR tutors and returning tutors who did not complete their training sessions last semester
 
What: Training Session #2
When/Where: Wednesday, March 6, 4:30 to 6 pm, CTLR
Who: Required for all new CTLR tutors and returning tutors who attended no training sessions last semester
 
What: Training Session #3
When/Where: Wednesday, March 13, 4:30 to 6 pm, Location TBA
Who: Required for all new CTLR math tutors 

Additional information about peer tutor training sessions
 
• All meetings and training sessions (whether required or optional) are paid. Pay rates and schedules will be discussed at the February 18 meeting. 
• If you have an unavoidable conflict with any of the meeting or training times, please contact me immediately
• If you haven't already done so, please ask a professor from your discipline who knows your work to send me a brief note (via email) that confirms your content knowledge.
