Spring Student Symposium Application

Here's what former Symposium presenters said about their experiences:

"As a presenter, I really enjoyed being able to share my passion with other people and possibly inspire them."

"I would absolutely present at the Symposium again, if I wasn't a graduating senior!  It was the best academic decision I made at Middlebury.  It was a rewarding, intellectually engaging, inspiring, and happy day!"

Students: Please discuss with your faculty or staff sponsor what you would like to present. The application will open January 21, 2013 and close March 5, 2013.

Faculty: Please encourage your students to participate.

Look over the online application before filling it out to make sure you have all the appropriate information. Note that the title needs to be less than 15 words and the abstract less than 150 words.

Submit your application here.

If you are have any technical issues with the application please email uro@middlebury.edu

Note: Several students have received an error that prevents their application from saving correctly:

"Presenter: found no valid user with that name.

Faculty/Staff Sponsor: found no valid user with that name."

When entering those fields please begin typing the person's last name and a list should pop up that contains the correct user to select. If you cannot find the correct name on the list please add a comment in the "Notes" area.

If you have any questions about presenting or if your project is appropriate please see the FAQs or contact Shawna Shapiro at sshapiro@middlebury.edu
