About the Alumni Association

The Alumni Association represents the interests of all Middlebury alumni. Pictured above are the MCAA Board members at the 2012 fall meeting on the Bread Loaf campus.
Middlebury is a lifetime experience. The MCAA Board's purpose is to connect all alumni to each other and to Middlebury College in mutually beneficial ways—fostering a community not limited to time or place.
MCAA represents undergraduate alumni and graduates and attendees from Language Schools, Bread Loaf School of English, and Bread Loaf Writers Conference, as well as graduates of the Monterey Institute of International Studies.
MCAA is led by a board of directors, which focuses on continuing education, alumni admissions program, alumni career services, chapter events, young alumni, diversity, alumni nominations, communications, class correspondents, and other initiatives. Learn more about the MCAA mission.
For the next three years, the board will focus on three priorities:
- Alumni Career Services: The goal is to improve networking and career opportunities for all alumni in partnership with the College's Education in Action office, which includes Career Services.
- Volunteer Appreciation: The goal is to engage alumni volunteers and recognize them for their service to the College.
- Building the MCAA Brand: The goal is to improve the visibility of the MCAA, so alumni around the world understand their relationship with Middlebury doesn't end with graduation and view MCAA as a valuable lifelong resource that keeps them informed and connected.
