Susan earned a B.A. in International Studies from Middlebury College and studied abroad in Paris, France. She received a Master’s in International Education from the School for International Training. Between college and graduate school, Susan returned to Europe for a spell, teaching English in France and interning at the Salzburg Seminar in Austria. Before returning to her native Vermont, she spent five years working in the field of international education in California. She interned for a year at the University of California, Riverside in the International Services Center, and she spent four years working in the Study Abroad Office at Pomona College. Susan now works with students going to Argentina, France, and Uruguay. Susan also works with MIIS students completing a Masters degree in International Education Management during the practicum phase of their program.
