RSS

An RSS feed or a webfeed is a way to receive or deliver updated content from a website. Subscribers use software called a reader (a web-based example is Google Reader)  that regularly checks for new content on all of the sites the user subscribes to. That information is either downloaded as a list of headlines or in its entirety. The reader allows the subscriber to go to one place to read all of the news headlines or blog posts or instead of having to visit each blog or news site individually.
