To record an event (audio or video) you must submit two electronic forms:
  1. Each participant being recorded must fill out the Consent & Release form at least 48 hours in advance of the event. The form is available here: go.middlebury.edu/consent
  2. The organizer must request recording support by using the form here: go.middlebury.edu/recording (login required)

Requests for recording require five (5) business days notice, requests will honored on a first-in/first-out basis.

Not all spaces are suitable for recordings - most classrooms lack the required audio and lighting for a successful recording. Thus, LIS only supports recordings in  select spaces. The approved spaces for recordings by Media Services staff are: Dana, Twilight Aud, MCC Social Space, Hillcrest 103, RAJ, MBH 216, MBH 220.
