How do I reset my Middlebury network password (email, wireless, etc)?
To reset your network password, go to our account activation page. For security purposes, you will be asked for your 8-digit Middlebury ID number and BannerWeb PIN number. If you do not know either of these numbers, please call the Technology Helpdesk at 802-443-2200 during our regular staff hours for assistance.
Where can I learn how to use the wireless networks at Middlebury?
How do I backup my files?
I think I have a virus, what should I do?
The first step is to try to remove the threat from your computer. All college-owned computers should have Sophos AntiVirus already installed for threat removal.
If running a scan with Sophos (or similar anti-virus software) and removing appropriate threats does not resolve the issue, contact us to take the next step.
This email is suspicious, what do I do?
Never respond to emails asking for personal information such as passwords. The college will never ask for this type of information in an email.
While the college does have spam filters, some phishing expeditions can still reach your inbox. For information on dealing with phishing emails, visit our wiki.
Where can I find information on editing a site in Drupal?
How do I recover a deleted file or folder on middfiles?
I forgot my Banner Web PIN, can I get it reset?
On the Banner Web log on screen, put in your college ID number and click the "Forgot PIN?" button. The system allows you to reset your own PIN number if you answer your security question correctly.
If you are unable to reset your own PIN in this way, please call us during our staff hours and we will assist you. These requests must be handled over the phone for security reasons.
