Museum Studies | Middlebury

As a Museum Studies student, you are eligible to apply for need-based financial aid and scholarship funding to help pay for tuition and fees.

Whether you’re a Middlebury College undergraduate student, or an undergraduate student from another institution, you are eligible to apply for aid for the Museum Studies Summer Program. The application requirements are below.

Process

Funds are limited, so you’re encouraged to apply early. Do not wait for an admissions decision before you apply for aid. Follow these steps:

Submit your Museum Studies application for admission.
Beginning in late October 2023, within a few days after you have submitted your application for admission, you will receive an email with the subject “Middlebury Financial Aid Information” that includes instructions on how to access and complete the Middlebury Summer Schools Financial Aid Application in Net Partner, Middlebury’s Student Financial Aid Portal. Current undergraduate students at the College will complete the Middlebury Undergraduate Summer Financial Aid Request Form.

Financial aid awarding for need-based funds will start in January 2024 and continue on a rolling basis throughout the spring until funds are depleted.

Requirements

Do not wait for your admissions decision to submit your financial aid application. To be considered for need-based financial aid from Middlebury you must:

Be accepted to the Museum Studies Summer Program.
Complete a Middlebury Summer Schools Financial Aid Application for Museum Studies
- Current undergraduate students should complete the Middlebury Undergraduate Summer Financial Aid Request Form.

Deadlines

The Middlebury Summer Schools Financial Aid Application for Museum Studies becomes available in late October after applying for admission to the program. There is no deadline but funds are limited and do run out so students are encouraged to apply early.

Awarding for Summer 2024

Financial aid awarding will start in January 2024 and continue on a rolling basis throughout the spring until funds are depleted. You will be considered for need-based aid from Middlebury once admitted into the program. Need-based aid is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, based on the date your completed financial aid application was received by the Office of Student Financial Services.
