  • Hebrew Language & Culture Club (HLC)

    An engaging and fun way to learn a bit of Hebrew and experience and learn about Israeli culture.
    Each week will provide something new and different according to students’ requests - including watching Israeli films and documentaries; Street Art in Israel; listening to Israeli Music; meeting interesting people from various sectors of Israel; and cooking and eating lots of Israeli foods.

    *The HLC Club is held mainly in English with a little bit of Hebrew spicing, and is led by Michal Strier, a Hebrew Professor from the Midd School of Hebrew.

  • Silent Bike Ride

    Please join us for Silent Bike Ride hosted by Emily Jones ’23.5 to celebrate the life of Evelyn Mae Sorensen, Class of 2025. All who would like to join in a silent, monitored bike ride to honor Evelyn are invited to join at Parking Lot E (student lot) at 5 p.m. Helmets are mandatory and all traffic regulations for the six-mile, half-hour route must be observed.   • Candlelight Vigil Celebrating the Life of Evelyn Mae Sorensen, Class of 2025

    All are invited to a candlelight vigil to honor, remember, and celebrate the life of Evelyn Mae Sorensen, Class of 2025. The remembrance will be held on the hillside in front of Middlebury Chapel. In case of inclement weather, the vigil will be held inside the chapel.

    First Show: Look, Dream, Begin, is a series of brand new, short plays from around the world interwoven into an inventive, truthful, and life-affirming piece about what it means to dream up a future during climate crisis. Directed by Madison Middleton ’22.5; making their Midd debuts are Max Blumenthal ‘27, Odette Castillo ‘27, Emma Dobson ‘27, Jenny Fede ‘26, Virginia Frau ‘27, Claire Hatch ‘26, Allison Hurd ‘27, Nitya Kaul ‘27, Sean Lovett ‘23.5, Edith Mauch ‘27, Sara McKillip ‘25, and Moriah Thompson ‘25.Cole Newman ‘26 is the Stage Manager, with Jiawen Li ‘27 as Assistant Stage Manager.
