  • Weekly Sunday Night Environmental Group Meeting

    Sunday Night Environmental Group (SNEG) is a non-hierarchical student org committed to climate and social justice activism. In the past we have pushed the college to divest from fossil fuels, passed anti-fossil fuel infrastructure resolutions in town, trained students on methods of non-violent direct action, occupied the statehouse, organized climate strikes, and so much more. We strive to ground our work in anti-racism, indigenous sovereignty, and community power. All are welcome regardless of prior knowledge or experience.

  • Hands-on Fire Exstinguisher Training

    September is National Campus Safety Awareness Month! In recognition, members of the Middlebury College’s Environmental Health, Safety and Compliance (EHS)  Community will be providing hands-on fire extinguisher training throughout the month of September. Participants will have the opportunity to handle real fire extinguishers while learning to control actual fires, all under the direct supervision of trained safety personnel. These training opportunities are open to all members of the Middlebury College community.
